Founder, CEO and Creative Director
After an early career as a pilot in the RAF, stints on the picture desks of various National newspapers and three and a half years as deputy head of pictures at the Financial Times, he became Director of Photography at a major agency before founding OneRedEye in 2006.
Ed remains a visual and design consultant to the Financial Times, working across both editorial and advertising. A founder member of the World Photography Organisation, UK Picture Editors Guild committee member and Director on the board of the Association of Photographers he is also an award winning portrait photographer and has been on the judging panels of the Sony World Photography Awards, the AOP Assistants Awards and judge and adviser to the London Street Photography Festival.
